Launched in 2007 by American Friends of the Louvre and the Musée du Louvre, the International Council was created to foster the Louvre’s ambitious international programs. The International Council comprises entrepreneurs, art collectors and philanthropists from across the globe. The Young Patrons Circle seeks to unite young professionals, philanthropists and art enthusiasts with a love for the Louvre. Through events in New York and an annual fund raising benefit, the YPC helps American Friends of the Louvre reach its fund raising goals.
Within the limits prescribed by law, the tax-deductible portion of a Young Patrons Circle membership is $300.
Corporate members of American Friends of the Louvre enjoy the opportunity to host events in the Museum in addition to passes for employees and clients. They also receive invitations for selected executives to Louvre events in France and the United States.

Established in 2004 by American Friends of the Louvre, the Chairman’s Circle represents a community of Louvre supporters from around the U.S. Members hail from New York, San Francisco, Houston, Miami, Palm Beach, Los Angeles, Cincinnati, Atlanta and Boston). In exchange for their generosity, Chairman’s Circle members participate in an annual trip to Paris focused on a major exhibition or theme at the Louvre and one annual art trip within the U.S. They also receive invitations to events planned throughout the U.S.
